Hi folks its time for a new CRT monitor, I was looking at the Viewsonic G90fb and the
Samsung Syncmaster 990DF, anybody familiar with these.

I have a 17" Mag Flat Screen Trinitron but its on its last legs. Image quality was very good being a trinitron tube.

Thanx

I have just got rid of a Samsung 970DF 19" having upgraded to an LCD but found it a fantastic screen. V clear, sharp and easy on the eyes for long periods. Hope that helps. Had it for 4 yrs.

What kind of LCD did you go with?

I have two side-by-side, one LCD and one CRT.
The LCD is where I keep menus, pallettes, etc.
The CRT is for the image being edited. I have never been able to get an LCD to render true colors that match printer output, but my Viewsonic 220 (CRT) does it beautifully .
The CRT is bad for text, but great for pictures, and the LCD is great fro text, menus, etc, but not as good for images.

Just my personal expeerience.
