Nice series. To bad on the last shot you couldn't have been up higher to get the whole car in view. On the other hand it is a great perspective to show how high the body can go in the air after an explosion.

This was the 2nd shot. My Canon 7D shoots 8fps and in the 5th shot you can still see the body going up and almost diappearing behind the board. Click on the link to see.

Jim, if you look straight across the track, in section CC, Row L, I am shooting that run also. I captured the entire sequence (except for when the spectator stood up in front of me). I am also still going through my pics. I hope to post a few soon.

I like these,great action ,and you were obviously limited for access,so restricting your shots.
Technically could be better,but shows whats going on ,and danger.

. I captured the entire sequence Like to see your shots, went to your site and I guess there not up yet...dang. I printed a 13x19 of Tony P. blowing up and got him to autograph it. When he was checking out the pic he said it made him wonder how long it had been since he had been to church...LOL.

Wish I could have had better access but it is iwhat it is. I had a blast and did managed to get some better shots, I'll post some up later. Thanks for the comments.

Thanks Jim. I just uploaded the Pro Stock Car pics. Funny Car will have to wait a few days. I leave town early in the morning to shoot a Lacrosse State Tournament in Austin Tomorrow -Saturday.
