Not sure if it's useful for anyone or not but I find it's kind of cool & convenient for me...sometimes.

Attaching the remote control to the 322CR2 head (in vertical position) and you can control the head & shooting at the same time with one hand....just like shooting a gun :)

Please take a look at the pictures (5750 & 5751) in the website below:

Remote control for 20D: bought on ebay for about $20

Attaching the remote control using a piece of velcro: you can put it in front and shoot with your index or middle finger or you can attach to the back and shoot with your thumb or detatch it to hanld hold the remote.

The twisted metal bar is attached to the head with a 6-32 screw. The hole is already there (on both size). If you could find a 6-32 wing screw, it's even better since you can attach, detatch & rotate the metal bar easily.

looks cool. I didn't know you can change the base plate of the 322 and put it at the end of the handle (mine is in the middle). it looks like a pilot joystick. I usually keep my remote in my other hand.

Cheers

The default setting for the 322CR2 is the handle on the right. You can change the base plate to have the handle on the left or in vertical position like the way I have :)

For me, I'm using Cfn4-#1 and focus with * button therefore holding the remote and controling the action grip with my left hand is hard. Attaching the remote to the handle helps alot.

Anyway, I wish there's a remote control which has both the * and shutter release button :)
