Nice site layout... and I agree with Martin about the pics.
Try and do a bit of post processing on some of them... at least AutoLevels... I did a few of your shots from Canada.. and it changed them from "yeah.. another picture of a road" to "nice shot of hiway with some cool bridges and stuff!!"
Just a suggestion... ;)

Can you send me the picture of the hiway after you change it. And if possible tell me how you have done it. I am learning a lot....
Thanks, Chris

you should at least have a CD with PhotoShop Elements on it.. (came with your camera.)
Take the picture that I was talking about.. Canada - image 14, and just click 'Auto Levels', or 'AutoColorCorrection'.
It will look like this...

I am testing with Photoshop a while and I know that I can create beter colors. The strange thing I have with PS is that when I load an image it is always a little darker than when I use paint  but I will try to do a color correction. I see som results like this; http://www.gerrist.nl/blogimages/ps_test.jpgIn addition, I bought a Tamron SP AF28-75mm F2.8 XR DI (IF)Marco lens and I am testing a lot with it. The images are much more sharper then the standard 18-55 lens of Canon.

First rule: Delete "MSPaint" from your system.
Second rule: Calibrate your monitor.
Third rule: use Color Profiles with PhotoShop. (which you are...)
The center strip looks much better here.
well.. there are a lot of rules.. but the main thought is that you keep some consistancy in your work... and make sure you try different settings to get the best looking ones.
If you look at a picture.. the flower or the bridges.. they look ok at first. Do a levels or color adjustment.. and flip back and forth between the original and the changed version (undo - redo). You will see what and where the differences are... and figure out pretty quickly what works for you.

You are right. I need to calibrade my monitor but it is not easy. What is the right colorcorrection. I need to search fo a good document about how to do it. And I am a little lazy too :D. Just only take pictures and not process them.
Can you look at the following two images, how can I get more hout these pictures.

The exposure and levels on these two look pretty good...
... but they are a bit blurry. looks like camera shake to me. (faster shutter speed or tripod.. or both.)
This site here (http://www.normankoren.com/makingfineprints1A.html#Monitorsetup) should get you going in the right direction... and look in the other forums here for some threads on this stuff.
