Hi, im really new to this.. but when printing for customers, does our signature go on there too or do you make another copy for websites?

When a client buys a print from me (and probably most), it comes with no markings at all.

For me:

Print -- no signature (or markings of any kind).
Mat around the print -- signature under the bottom right of the print ON THE MAT.

I have no idea what website stuff you're referring to.

My website has water marks, but when a customer buys a print, they get it without markings on the front. On the back I have my website.

Unless, specifically requested and paid for, all my photos have my signature at the bottom.

This is not the standard, and should not be confused with a watermark, it is my actual signature, same as i would for any painting or drawing.

But as i said, this is not the standard, it is, however, my standard, and most of my clients love it.

You didn't say what kind of work you're doing.

I do wall portraits, and my signature goes on all of them, just as a portrait painter's would.

Portrait painters never ask this question.
