Took ourselves off to the zoo with 5 kids had a blast taking photos of the animals, while teaching the girls about taking photos. They had point and shoots we took the Tamron 200-400 and gave it a great workout. Adding the BG-E1 to the mix and we had a trouble free day. Only the girls ran out of battery power. Any suggestions or critics welcome.

I really like the subjects and the compositions. If they were only a little sharper---or is it just me? That little fella is as cute as can be! Thanks for posting!

Agree composition is good and the little one is lovely. But It seems to me also that they lasck a little bit of sharpness. Did you postprocesser them or are they straight out of the camera ?

I love the pic of the little rhino :) .
All I have done here is adjust the levels and apply some Unsharp Mask in Photoshop. If you work on the original image you will get better results than working on this small web copy but hopefully you can still see the improvement.

There are some great tutorials in the post processing forum, I have learnt heaps from them. I also got a book on photoshop, it has helped me no end!. Once you get the basics, photoshop isn't that hard to use :)
