Do you watermark your images for paid shoots for families, couples and such?

for prints, I have a very small transparent watermark at the bottom... same goes for just sending them.

All my web size images are watermarked.
But I know of one pro who shoots music entertainers and models for agencies and he watermarks his prints so the agency knows who the photographer was.

No, but the photo lab back prints my name and copyright info on each print.

I like to heavily watermark my online pics, and even sometimes printed proofs if the customer hasn't ordered any pictures yet.

I'm still playing with the idea of putting my logo on the actual prints. Ive done some with, some without, not sure how the customer feels about my logo being on their family prints.

Only if requested for the couple.

I watermark anything I'm uploading to the internet, and anything I'm providing to a client for free (I'm typically quite free with web resolution versions of my photos for them to use on Facebook - all watermarked)

Anything they are paying for (prints, full resolution JPGs etc) are watermark free. They paid for it.

It works - the community I shoot have a large online presence - the more free shots I give, the more places my watermark shows up. I've only had one or two occasions where someone has cropped my watermark off and used the photo anyway.
