Decided to post some images from a wedding on Good Friday, was held at Montsalvat Artist Colony in the East of Melbourne, absolutley stunning building and grounds.

Well anyway, this is the first post for me in the wedding section. Look forward to some feedback. Edit: Am i the only one who gets nervy posting on a new forum? lol.

Was asked to do something "different" in PP before the couple left for their honeymoon, so went overboard with textures etc :p My wife likes it as it is "different" everytime I look at it, i think "hmm, not too sure".

I think you've gone overboard with skin softening in #1. She doesn't look human and her right arm is like porcelain. Same with the people in the background. Something looks odd.

#2 is outstanding!

Great light in #2. I don't see the 'texture' in the last one, I see too much softening, which is pretty old school. Too much vignette in #3. Processing takes away from the quality of the photographs IMO. But I do like #2 a lot.

#2 is the only one I really like, your PP kills the others for me.

#2... and agree with the rest about the processing.

I agree with the others, these are beautiful shots! #2 is just brilliant, but you over processed them which really took away from the beauty of the images.

me, too. A shame because #1 is a great capture. Back off the skin softening and maybe even the edge sharpening and that's a real nice image. That said, #4 is interesting.

Thanks for all the feedback guys, the PP in these is not seen by the couple, it is more me just playing around with different things. Will upload the originals after work minus the PP.

Thanks again :)

I think 2 and 3 are absolutely gorgeous. I think you did an amazing job!

These are fabulous! The first one is way, way overprocessed, but love the others!

I noticed that a lot of photographers don't like PP, but a lot of regular people do.

Thankfully, I'm more a regular person than a photographer, so I like 'em.

But yeah, #1 does look like a little too much PP. :)

love #2. #3 is great too--really cool feel to it and I think the strong vignette works here.

A little too much skin smoothing on #1, but apart from that I like it.

I like #3 the best, except for her wrist being at an odd angle.

I'm not a fan of #4 at all, sorry.

Great images. I agree. #2 is simply stunning. And you don't have to be a photographer to note that the skin softening was a little overdone. When you posted the originals, I see why it was overdone. She has great skin to start with. Healing brush here and there and you're done. Awesome use of light!

And the following just made me smile: :D
Thankfully, I'm more a regular person than a photographer, so I like 'em.
I guess, Reflektions, you're proud you're not much of a photographer?? (It was the 'thankfully' part that got me)

Will link you to it later :) I made it a simple pano style black and white, actually come up rather nice keeping it "basic".

Cheers, yeh, it was taken a bit far, decided to leave it completley untouched. Looks good the way it is.

Thanks re: #2 also. :)
