Is there anyone shooting the upcoming Long Beach Grand Prix professionally? I mean, someone who actually has a press pass?
If so, what lenses will you be using or at least bringing to the race? I will be at the Grand Prix for the first time this year and not really sure what to bring.. i have my 70-200mm but fear that it may not be long enough for some of the locations.
Thanks!
Michael

If you are credentialed I would say a 400mm, 70-200mm, and a 24-70mm. I would also take a flash for press conferences.

Yeah, i currently have my 24-70mm, 70-200mm and flash(es).. I just wasn't sure if needed extra focal length.. Maybe I should get my hands on a 400mm lens just in case..

You could always rent, it's totally up to you.

70-200mm is enough.
I actually did not have any mid-range zoom, so I used mostly 85mm f/1.8 and it worked out fine.

yup... 70-200mm worked like a charm.. i had no problem getting the right shots while track side. Sometimes, it was too long.. thanks for the replies!
