This is nothing serious but I had never played with pseudo HDR images before and I had these on my card. What do you think? I also cannot decide between the two Black cat pictures.

Nice. *2 looks how our tuxido kitty would look. The flair is great.

While all 3 look nice, none of them are HDR... they are tone mapped

It's not a whining comment. They are all nice images, however they are posted in the HDR forum and they are not HDR. An imaged that is toned mapped is not any less of an image, but tone mapping does not make an image HDR. If these images had been posted in the Pets forum then my comment regarding their not being HDR would not have been made.

Well the Op did state that they were "pseudo" HDRs to begin with, so why even say that! Pseudo HDRs are welcomed here.

I like the Cats and Background, but don't like the effects from the Window Screen Pattern.

For the sake of the argument: from a technical standpoint there is no such thing as "pseudo" HDR, it either is or it isn't, these pictures should have been posted in the pets forum. Yes they are welcome on POTN, and yes they are good pictures, just posted in the wrong place. End of disagreement

Regardless of opinions, RAW images run through HDR Software are posted in here often and are mostly accepted though not agreed upon. Just search, there are many arguments over this topic in this forum. Notice I didn't even call them HDR images.
Thanks for the nice comments, Just wanted to see if they were acceptable proccessed images.

I can see by the number of posts that you have you are new here. Do some research, pseudo HDR otherwise known as tone-mapped has been around for years. Even look in the preference panel of Photomatix Pro and you can see they have settings for pseudo HDRs. Do a search on google and you will pull up lot's of pseudo HDR pages. Also since you're new here browse the HDR section of this forum and you will find hundreds of pseudo HDRs in there..right where they belong. Bluntly put...you are wrong.
