Hey guys , thanks for the rec. of pbase its a great place for samples. Now I'm not a pro photographer so Im not quite sure on lens for the rebel xt. I.E., if youre using the rebel xt to take headshots what type of lenses would be best if any, or the reg lens or it depends on the length of the subject or , yeah not really sure :):o thanks-

A 50mm would be a good lens for head shots

The 85mm 1.8 USM lens is also good.

Second vote for the 50mm f/1.8

Buy yourself a nifty fifty and use it for a while when you will have a better idea on what other lenses you may want or need. Price is around $75 US.

Awesome , thanks everyone. A 50mm f/1.8 it IS! Ive researched too and seems to be the perfect choice for now :)
