Hi,

I have a couple of questions about release forms.

Do you have clients sign a release form for each of the photoshoots or do you make a generic form that they have to sign once.

Also, I am being signed to do a family photoshoot (husband, wife and two kids). How do you go about getting release form for this type of shooting? Do both adults sign a single agreement? What about kids?

Thanks.

Each shoot should have a separate release.
Each adult involved needs to sign, and a guardian of any children (ie either parent), needs to sign.

It depends. Generally, its best to get a release that covers all image from a shoot, and its the most common release for editorial, weddings, commercial, etc. But its also commonplace in advertising to have a release for a specific image(s), which also details exactly how the image will be used, what medium, for how long, what markets, etc.

Thankls guys.

For a family shoot, is it sufficient to have a single form listing everyone's names (adults and kids) and then have adults sign that form?
