How do you publish a web gallery made from photoshop to your website. Would I just drop it in my public__html file or is that going to cause problems? I read some somewhere that doing that way can cause some kind of problem. It said something about photoshop not letting you rename the file that it makes of the web gallery. It will have a name like index__html. I am totaly lost. I want the easiest way to put up a nice web gallery on my website. any help will be very much appreciated!

put it inside your public_html folder, doesn't matter what it's named, aslong as it's got a index.html inside it somewhere. i suppose.
trial and error :)

Got bored enough to do a tutorial on the topic... check it out online at: http://www.whyambient.com/tutorial/
It will describe how to create multiple galleries on your site, using Adobe Photoshop CS2's new flash gallery action.

Thanks for the tutorial!
I've been able to use the PSE3 Web gallery with my website, at least a few of the selections they give. I take the index pages that it creates and insert my own navigation bars at the top. I use Frontpage 2003. As I learn more, I'm sure I can do more.
Look forward to reading this tutorial.

Jill, Where and how do you put this in your FrontPage site? I'm more or less a FrontPage idiot and I can't find any way to upload a folder -- or am I barking up the wrong tree?
Thanks,
Jim

Jim,
I make my Web Photo Gallery in PSE3. I go to Frontpage and File> Import the ENTIRE PSE3 Web Gallery folder to my Frontpage folder that I started called "Albums". Then I go to the Index page that PSE3 created, open and insert my Web Component navigation bar and centered it. That's all the customization I have done so far but need to read the tutorial that Sarah wrote. It's a lot more detailed, I'm sure.
Here is the link to the PSE3 gallery that I used with my website. This is my first one, done this week, so I anticipate learning more.

Thanks Jill,
I THINK you've been a big help. I'm travelling now and stuck with a laptop that was considered fast when I bought it, but now . . .
So, I can't say for sure your method is going to work for me, but I will know in less than a week.
Oliver must be an interesting companion. He could probably get it to work for me:D.
