I have decided to order a Tiffen Megaplus .75/43mm wide angle lens with adapter(from Lensmate) for my G6: I would probably have bought the Canon lens except that its black while the camera is silver (the Tiffen is of course silver) and reports on the Tiffen suggest its a decent lens.I am also buying a rubber lens hood from Lensmate.

Does anyone know of a suitable case to accomodate the G6 plus these attachments please?

I have a Lowepro micro trekkor 100 backpack that I keep mine in. Don't have any extra lens yet but do have a Sigma EF-500 DG ST flash which is pretty large. You can adjust the compartments to fit what you need. Not the best fitting backpack but handy. Have the Canon tele on the way for mine.

I am hoping to find a close fitting case just for the camera rather than a bag to carry various items.

I have a ProMaster case that my daughter-in-law gave me for my G6. The camera fits snug inside, but no so much that it is turned on when putting in/taking out. The case has an inside storage in the top that can carry xtra cards and zipper front compaartment that carries the charger quite well. Sorry I don't have the model#, she just told the clerk at the camera shop it was for a G6.

Good luck. I gave up and bought the backpack instead. I'm thinking about going to a leather shop and seeing what it would cost to have a fitted case made that can unsnap and still stay attached to take pictures like a dedicated SLR case. If you find something post it here for us.
