2 small birds

hi,im by no means a bird photographer i just took these while waiting for some aircraft to land.i dont even know what kind of birds they are.but taking these shots made me realise that a 400mm lens is not very long for small birds.:cry::D

Good composition, I would of liked them taken at a slower speed in order for more detail in the colouring.
