Hello everyone!
After looking at some of the photos taken by forum members I really feel I'm in the right place to begin improving my own shots...great work guys and gals!
This is a 30sec exposure using the 300D at f5.6, iso800 and 18mm AV
Feel free to be brutal :)

That's kinda neat - I like that you can see the stars coming out AND you can see that blue sky and clouds. I do want to see a little more green grass though. Cool idea.

Great start! You can lower the contrast ratio a bit if you have a version of PS. There's a lot of info in the "Sticky"s at the top of the Post processing and printing (http://photography-on-the.net/forum/forumdisplay.php?s=&daysprune=&f=18) section.

Very nice, almost mythical. Just need a stone circle in the mist :)

Wow. I really like this. Was it shot with the kit lense? I tried to do something like that, but it always comes out too orange.

Yes, it was shot with the 18-55 kit lens approximately one hour after sunset
