Sandals and polished granite

Taken of a polished granite bench along Boulder Creek in downtown Boulder, Colorado. The sandals look pretty cozy - how about the people who left them? Don't know - no obvious owners in sight. Canon S500.

hmmm...the sandles are an interesting story..but distract from the photo.

You have a good point, mnfinnkidd. I left the sandals alone when I took the photo. I wondered afterwards if the impact would have been greater if I had moved the sandals close to the bench. But that would have been "cheating" in some sense.
