Whoa expensive, I remember reading about it a while ago but didn't realize it might have a larger censor than say the G11, am I right there APSH, doesn't that put it near to a 1.5 crop, that's pretty incredible for a point and shoot but isn't that what the 4/3rds are basically?
So, does anyone know if this is very good?
And is Canon coming out with a camera in this arena?

dpreview's conclusion, particularly the con's hammers this camera.
The struggle within me continues whether I step up to a big boy dslr or keep close to my promise in keeping it small and buy a 4/3rds instead. I've so enjoyed the G experience.

You might find this review of some interest. I found it while researching a possible purchase of a Sigma DP2/DP1. I ended up ordering a G11 instead - still waiting for it to arrive.

You may also want to browse the types of photos taken with the Leica X1 (http://fiveprime.org/flickr_hvmnd.cgi?search_type=Tags&photo_number=50&photo_type=250&noform=t&quicksearch=1&sort=Interestingness&textinput=leica%2Cx1&.submit=Search+Tags). There are more snapshot type images than the creative types I see posted for a G11. However, that may mean folks that have it tend to use it as a light carry everywhere camera, and not really in to taking time for creative shots?

Hmmm, doesn't look like anything that isn't covered by better choices. Still want to believe Canon's going to get into this market.
