Here are a few from an extremely short weekend. Basically had 1 two-hour session Friday morning, a half hour Friday afternoon and an abbreviated race (100min. instead of 165min.) on Saturday. At least the light was nice Friday morning.

6-7-8 are nice the rest seem to be a bit distracting or have weird angles going on

Hi John,
I think the last two head shots are great, good crops, perfectly taken.

4 is in your usual style ,which I love ,heat haze and roomy .

The first three do nothing for me,odd angles with distractions ,and too tight.

As a set have seen much better from you .
Just my humble opinion of course,
Regards,
Pons

The first one is a good example ... that beautiful hedge is making those lines in that image (that sexy car) just (off)
I think if you would have got a little better location on it or better angle it would (flow) better in the image .... only and only my two cents if ti works for you use it bra. Thank you for letting me voice.
wish i could have been at the trac.

Hey John, thanks for sharing. I have learned a lot from your site and it has helped me a lot when shoot motorsports stuff. I have been shooting motorsports stuff for only a year with Formula Drift 2009 being my first one. However, I mean no disrespect to you, but your other shots are much better than most of the ones you selected here. I do like the overheaed shot a lot though.

In defense, I like #2

Also, I'm going to guess shooting at a temporary road course does not offer the creative opportunities that a permanent course does. Catch fence is not your friend, unless a tire is headed at you.

Plus they have the nerve to have streets that run up and downhill. LOL

Not much wiggle room for sure.
