C&C: My New Website!

Hey everyone.

I finally have my wordpress site 90% done. I need to do another grammer/spelling run and maybe reformat the pictures in my post.

I figured I would let you guys tear it apart before "launching" it.

I don't really like how the galleries open in a new window and the only way to get back to the main page is by clicking out of it. That being said the layout is pretty nice.

If you can edit your site, then remove in red:

Thanks Mike! I figured it was a long those lines but I needed a break from my monitor. A quick inspection with firebug helped my find it! Now if I could only frame the flash to include the logo in the top (to link back)...

It looked decent, but took forever to load on my computer (easily a few seconds.)

Yeah, I don't know why that is though. I have my domain name with 1and1 and it is sent to my host ixwebhosting. Do you think the problem is their on with the actual wordpress part of the site?

One thing I noticed is that with the pictures that cycle. The one image that has the girl wearing a red shirt and the guy has a black shirt and there looking at each other with there backs against a shed. It has a thin white line along the left hand side.

I sent you an edited version of your Gallery a few days ago. Did you ever try it?

Norton is a horrible sec suite. Chews up resources. Maybe it's the java in the header causeing that?

Mike, thanks but I haven't been able to get to it just yet. I was busy selling my motorcycle today. I will try it tomorrow.

Anyone have any ideas on why it takes long to load? Is it the redirect?
