I like the detail. I have an S30 and have a hard time getting it to focus on a fast moving animal. You did a good job. The head might be slightly out of focus though.

When shooting small animals, I find the picture looks better when shot from a lower angle. Lower angles make the picture feel more balanced and the subject looks more important. Your pic looks like you are about to step on the subject (By the way, what is that? An Australian Racoon?). Anyhow, my only animal pics are of cats and dogs. It is hard to get a wild animal to sit still.
