Finally got round to editing and processing some of my shots from the Top Hat Masters event at Snetterton last weekend. It was a brief visit to the circuit as I only had the morning to spare so managed to see all the qualifying sessions, but none of the races unfortunately. Apologies for the lack of variety in terms of location for the shots below - I just didn't have time to move around much without missing some of the action.

All the shots were taken at either the Revett Straight, or at the Esses using a Canon 40D + Sigma 50-500mm EX HSM lens.

As always all C&C is welcomed.

1. Beautifully turned out Jag E-Type - Nice colour scheme too.

2. An MGB GT Roadster leads the way up the Revett Straight being hotly pursued by three Jags.

3. Austin Healey 3000 - Just for Simon Harrison that one!

4. Beautiful Jaguar XK150 gracefully rolling through the Esses.

5. Gorgeous Broadspeed Ford "Cologne" Capri which just sounded awesome accelerating hard along the Revett Straight.

6. You can't beat a little Lotus Elan

7. The fantastic Broadspeed Jaguar XJ12C - what a fantastic machine this is. Trust me - it has the engine to match the pumped up looks and sounded great at full chat.

8. Last and by no means least, another great car, the BMW 3.0 CSL "Batmobile" with a great paint job.

Look forward to hearing your comments.

nice. don't get to see much of that here in the wild, wild west; most people here think a jaguar (pronounced jag-wire) is something you hunt. really like the xk150

LOL - The Top Hat Historic events here in the UK always provide a really plethora of different marques and models from the good old days. I really enjoy the racing too as it is always close and entertaining. The Jaguards sure are lovely cars - especially that Broadspeed XJ12C :D

As andrewc mentioned, it certainly looks like one of the original "Art Cars", but I'm not sure if its the actual original one. Maybe just a replica. It certainly looked and sounded fantastic though.

Apparently its an "art car" replica Kevin, and this was its first outing.

Really like #3 - making good use of the full 500mm of your Bigma. I think I need to invest in more reach! A great set, of some really nicely turned out cars.

The only think I'd say is that the saturation looks a little high, but I'm at work, so it's probably this monitor.
