Here's another try at a candle in the dark with some fake fuit. I posted a similar one a week or two ago, but I think this turned out better. The last one used the 350D kit lens, this is with my new EF 50mm f/1.8.

Comments? Critique?

Thats pretty neat, how long of an exposure for this type of thing? Great shot, I saw your other post and would agree, I like this one more..................Joe

I don't think it's possible to get an image like that in a single exposure. If it can be done, I'd love to know how. My final image includes 4 seperate exposures. The longest was 2.5 seconds and included light from an couple of 60 watt bulbs mounted on the wall. The other three had just the candle as light; 0.4, 0.6, 2.0 seconds. All were at ISO 100 f/9.
