I was at West Edmonton Mall this afternoon. For those that don't know what that is, its the worlds largest shopping mall on all of earth. If you've been to the Mall of America in MN, imagine that mall, but twice as big and with a ton of glamour and you have WEM.

Here are 3 pictures I took, in Phase III of the mall. Called Europa Boulavard and (i think) Santa Maria Lago0n. In the lagoon is a life sized replica of the ship Christopher Columbus sailed on. Commenst always welcomed.

Well thanks for replying, Learner. Yeah I like number #3 the best too but #2 is pretty nice considering it was a nice blue cloudy day instead of a complete white out like it usually is when I go to WEM.

I don't remember those parts when I was there a few years back... but good shots nonetheless!

Wow, who designed this Europa Bld?
Thanks God, we european people do not have to live in such a "Barbie in Disneyland"-like environment!

Wow, that's a huge mall. It looks like a city under one roof. Great pics!

Wow, who designed this Europa Bld?
Thanks God, we european people do not have to live in such a "Barbie in Disneyland"-like environment! Actually I believe it was a guy from Fance that designed Europa Blvd. It used to be in pastel colors but in North America we're not crazy about pastels so about 10 years ago they repainted it.

The mall is so big, that it has the largest indoor WaterPark in the world. the largest indoor amusement park, Galaxyland with a rollarcoaster. Real Submarines, A seal lagoon, A full sized hockey rink, giant hotel, very large indoor mini golf and miles and miles of stores to shop at. From everything to Dollar stores to stores where you could drop thousands on a single thing. And that's just what I can think of.

They even have a giant copper whale in the center of the mall and bourbon street!

Here are some pictures I found through google of WEM, these were taken by We are camera from the UK. I haven't bothered to take pictures of it because I take it for granted and forget people travel from all over the world to go to this thing and then the rockie mountains. Actually its strange in the parking lot. Looking at the license plates you'd almost think it was some sort of convention, cause every province and state has representatives there. I've even seen a plate from Mexico.
