I am just looking for a sample portrait photo of any dignified 70-something year-old woman. No one with too much make up. Just something that does her justice and makes her feel proud.

Why do I want such a sample?

My girlfriend's mother wants a photo that she can take to someone and say, "I want to look like this woman."

The image can be screen-res, 1600x1200 max.

Any takers?

Thanks.

(Her mom lives in the Bay Area, California. We live in DC. I can't take it.)

There are plenty of portraits of random people here (http://www.flickr.com/photos/istockevents/sets/72157623998829284/).
I don't know about dignified, but maybe you can find what you need there.
There's a similar set here. (http://www.flickr.com/photos/istockevents/sets/72157624001852074/)

Nothing that I've taken though, sorry.

Try searching the stock sites. Given the enormous baby boomer population and their interest in health & longevity there's sure to be a mass of stock images catering to advertising needs. Good chance there's an image that appeals to your girlfriend's mother.

I don't have a suggestion to help with the size, but my favorite photo of an old person is Ruth Bernhard by Rene Carufel, below:

Always loved this one my GM. Ambient light, simple and flattering IMHO.
