Here are some photos from my recent visit to the Bird Sanctuary. Unfortunately most of these birds have some sort of injury that prevents them from being released back into the wild.

You have some very nice shots here, luis.

#4 has elegant plumage, and #8's red head is striking.

Thanks tupe... it was kind of hard to take these pictures as they were all behind fencing similar to the bird in the first picture and the Florida sun was really bright and harsh.

I like the pelican shots, esp #2. I saw the poor YCNH has to eat dog food while the wild ones enjoy crawdad and sunfish. Well, that's what u get if u r injured and being hospitalized. :D

I don't think it was dog food... from what I remember it was nuts and grains.
