Hi,
All worked fine on my PC after CS2 was installed and the first update of adobe bridge 1.1 but with the new bridge version the message comes up I must have at least one registered Adobe product on my PC ???
My CS2 is original and this problem was not there before.
There is no 1.1 more online so for the time being I'm back to rawshooter (don't want to reinstall due to my filters and settings).
Anyone any idea ?
There where alot of problems with a Danisch version of windows XP but I run a Dutch version.
I'm puzzled ?

You mispelled Danish ;-)
I updated my bridge to 1.02 without problems also on Windows XP (english), well except that the auto update feature still indicate that an update 1.01 is available.

Sounds familiar. Do you perhaps get it when you run Bridge by itself? I think the way around it was to start Bridge from CS2, e.g. by selecting File > Browse.

When I ran the update I got the same problem. I tried to run Bridge from the desktop icon and it would not work. All I had to do was fix that shortcut. I have CS2 on my E drive, but it looks lilke Bridge runs from the C drive (system drive.)
Since I am not at home, I canot tell you the actual directory, but I will check if want me too later tonight.

Sorry for the long responce time. I did not know that when I went to work, I would be staying there fora few days.
Did you try and run the patch again?
It is in my "C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Bridge\Bridge.exe" unlike PS which is on my E drive.

There is an Adobe Bridge Forum at Adobeforums.com. Lots of discussion there and many replies from Adobe techies who seem pretty knowledgeable.

Even when running it from C: it will not boot, aaaaaargh.
Strange by the way it resides on C and D (I have all my programm files on D).
For the time being I'm using rawshooter again.
