Canon EF-S 18-200mm f/3.5-5.6 IS

Yesterday, I bought my 18-200 & this is of my first shots that made me proud of my choice!

I really like mine. Highly underrated IMO. Lots of flexibility and got it for about $300 used in mint condition.

I snagged this one a couple of days ago of our program manager with the XSi and 580 ex II

I'll have to take care of this. I used this lens on an XSi exculsively on a vacation to San Diego. I absolutely loved it! On the rebel it made for a super light rig that beat the snot out of a P&S. Al post them in the next hour or so after they load to Photobucket.

not yet, i know this lens without IS is excellent ! but I guess IS can be very helpful in some situation ;)

true. there was a big ongoing discussion about the new L vs the USM version in the official L thread and it seemed at the time like people were split 50/50 on which was better and if the L was worth the extra dough. If I had the $$ laying around, I'd definitely take the new one.
