A few photos from the Pirelli Rally. A lovely sunny day, but the dust clouds were a real problem, especially when cars were running close together.
Photos taken with Canon 400D and Canon 70-200mm f2.8L IS

I am seeing a blue caste over most of them, they are sharp enough but guesssing exposures are out and white balance.

Many thanks for your comments chrispons.
I agree about the blue caste, which may be due to the fact that I chose the "Automatic" white balance, rather than sticking with "As shot". I will try and reprocess them using "As shot". They were all converted from RAW images.

Do you use Adobe Camera RAW (Photoshop) for converting your RAW files? It has a handy tool (which is also present in Photoshop itself) in the form of an eye dropper for setting your white balance. You basically click on something in your image that should be white and it works out the colour temperature to have where you clicked be white. You generally have to move it higher or lower a little bit and sometimes get an odd coloured pixel on your first click but it's much quicker than trying to eyeball it and usually gets better results than using an auto setting.

Thanks for the tip DazJW, I well bear that in mind.
Following a previous posting and similar comments regarding white balance, it was recommended that I use the Auto white balance on conversion, rather than the As Shot.
I have redone the images and substituted them and, I believe, there is a vast improvement.
