Eight-photo pan of Mount Shuksan (two rows of four). Works out to about a 43 megapixel shot. Used PTAssembler. Shot with a 20D and 50mm f/1.4.

For those that are interested... I just printed this out on an HP laserjet (500 something) using dimensions 18 inches by 50 inches (it's a roll machine using 24-inch wide paper). The resolution is incredible! On the very far right edge is a chair lift that I didn't see in the original. Probably could have pushed it to 24 inches wide, but I didn't want a 6-foot long photo. Wow. I'm happy. :D

Great shot of a beautiful mountain. Glad to see you caught the lake still enough to get a good reflection.

So the panorama feature does work! Well thanks Chazs, I'll have to try it next time I go to the rockies. Great picture. Its so good it could be one of those Black pictures with writing on it like "Sucess" that you buy at Wal Mart. Actually its better then that.

My friend and I also stayed in a one-room flat in Matala for a few days, and above the bed was one of those cheep plastic fake-relief photos of Mount Shuksan. (I took a photo of it) ;) Half way around the world and I see a mountain I grew up on!!! The problem was, they had it BACKWARDS!!!
