I tried Capture 1 based on all the reccomendations, and as I grow more accustomed to it, it's definitely turning out to be a powerful worflow/post-processing tool. Very solid image quality. The one concern is that its noise reduction algorithmns are just not as powerful as a standalone program like noise ninja -- especially when noise ninja utilizes ISO profiles to get the best noise reduction possible.
Ideally, I would want a workflow to do all the levels, saturation, balancing, sharpening AND noise reduction changes in RAW, but I'm not sure how I could do that with Noise Ninja. So far, I'm forced to do most of my post processing in RAW, but leave sharpening out, since I don't want to sharpen the noise more, run Noise Ninja, and then somehow apply sharpening after the fact, but this method is less than ideal from a quality perspective. Any thoughts?
