I use G3 now. I just bought G11. I think I will instal G11 version in my PC. Should I uninstal the G3 version, or keep both?

Thank you

Long time frame between G3 & G11, I would have to believe the newest utilities would be better, more features, just like the G11 over the G3

Just run the update. The software is the same. Canon does not make 45 versions of the software to send with each model, they make one version that can handle all 45 cameras. As long as it is up to date it will handle any Canon camera.

We had similar problems with the Pro1 and the S5 and worst yet when we installed the Rebel XT software in the same computer.

If the downloads from the G11 are working fine, the use of the card reader for the G3 (and also for the G11) seems a good advice.

Yes, I tried the card reader. It works.

Thank you for everybody's input.
