Pirelli Rally 2010

Thought I would post a few of mine from saturdays rally. As stated in other threads it was very, very dusty. Hats off to the drivers in all classes though as even though the dust was causing a few problems it did not slow them down, and some of the driving was very impressive.
All shots taken with a 5D II and Sigma 120-300mm F2.8 EX DG. Only took in the one stage so shots were taken in the same spot.

Thanks Chris. I am really enjoying using the 5D II for rallies as I do prefer a little room around the cars if possible, and the cropping capabilities from 21mp is amazing, so recomposing through cropping is not a problem.

The Fiesta had to win the most dust generating vehicle award, as it was almost like a black out after it went past :lol:.

Fantastic set of shots there Kev. Looks like you found yourself a great vantage point. Really like #1 with the dust trail into the distance behind.

Brilliant selection there for sure, all looking good imo, however Nr. 1 gets top marks from me, love the way the wispy dust trail backs up the road behind the porsche :cool:
