Just before I took this shot the deer were trying to steal picnicker's sandwhiches! I used a 17-40 lens for this shot..I got so close.

Oh my goodness! This fellow must have been absolutely fearless for you to be able to get that close. We go out at dusk when they're out in the fields and whistle at them so they'll look at us long enough to get a shot.
