Posing mother & daughter

I have a shoot coming up where I will have a mother and her teenage daughter. It is a gift for her deployed husband. Suggestions on how to pose them? It will take place outdoors near a lake. I am use to posing kids or adult couples. I am unsure what to do with two adults who are not a couple.

Maybe have them sitting down, with the daughter kind of leaning her head against her mother's shoulder.

Lay them on the grass and just shoot them laying down next to eachover holding hands. Just try and be creative. :) Have fun!

I just saw a pic on one of the other threads in this board...(the girl was a little younger though) - they were sitting , legs crossed, facing each other, and they were smiling with their noses together. It was cute, but ? not sure about that age girl ???
