These are super - me too prefer subtle. If I had a dime for every hdr overblown-black sky I seen, I would be rich.
If I had to pick, I like the truck #1 best - the other is nice but find it too closely cropped (not enough air around it).
I like the pond but wondeer about the foreground....I would have cropped just above the logs in the water. Maybe would have been a nice pano with top half of photo.
