I like to go with borderless printing ie. full page. If I put my own border on the pic it more often than not gets resized, no matter how much image resizing I do, and I fail to get the 100% image printed. Does anyone have a way to overcome this?

There's an option hidden somewhere in the photoshop options, otherwise you can use the software that comes with your printer. There was a thread on how to do this a few weeks back in this forum, a quick search didn't find it but you should be able to with a bit of effort.

I am having the same problem with my new Epson R300. if I print from the camera they come out perfect and borderless. If I print from PS i get a boder no matter what I try. I have played with a ton of settings but just can't get it right.

If only it was that easy. Borderless even through PS as opposed to my printer software will crop or expand your pic and cause a loss of image. This may not be a concern or noticeable where you bleed right off the page but if you put a fancy border around your image with your name and or logo in the border you really notice when the software chops a piece of this off. I will just have to keep playing. WYSIWYG is not the case. It never was.

My Canon i560 has an option of amount of borderless extension. You end up losing around 1/8" all around when you do borderless printing be default.

Is the proportion of your print the same as the proportion of the paper? Look in Image> Image Size / Document size to see.
You can set Width/Height/Resolution for the Cropping tool to fix the proportion. Maybe after this next step...

An alternative would be to add a black border just big enough to let the printer crop off the bit it want's to. Image> Canvas Size.

The problem is with these types of pics. Black borders do not help. Hey I got a brownie just like that too.

The Brownie: Mine's an "L"! See the red ring? :D:D
