Angle seems a little plain for me.
As for the bike, doesn't matter how it looks, because it seems like the dude can ride

hahahaha this is my little brother, so the bike parts are all hand-me-down parts, he has been riding for one year, and has come up pretty fast.
but yea, his bike is horrible hahahaa
just like photography, its not always the equipment that matters, it's what you do with what you have that counts.

not bad for a popup flash.

I need to save up so I can get a decent flash set-up....my lighting is my biggest issue

I'd want to see more the scene, and well as a nicer angle. Seems very plain.
Nice riding though, I'm so scared of handrails. But I've only been riding since September.

If you wanna do it super low budget. you can build your own diffuser for an pop up flash. There must be a thousand tutorials of it online. You can also just use some friends with flashlights from the side. Or if your dad has one of those job site work lights.
Your right about not needing the best equipment to get good shots, but this is a shot that could benefit from some off camera flash.
As for the angle, I agree with the people that said get lower.
