I had to imitate another photographer's lighting style for a project. I elected to shoot in the style of Chase Jarvis (http://www.chasejarvis.com/#s=0&mi=2&pt=1%CF%80=10000&p=3&a=0&at=0). And to make things more difficult, I also decided to try their actual shooting style out too. This is, from the ground up, a shot that I can picture Chase Jarvis creating.

Comments and criticism always appreciated.

good use of negative space IMHO. the one thing that really drew me in is the eye. it is very sharp and with the pupil being dialated really adds an intense feel to the image.

Nice and interesting shot, well lit en tack sharp where it counts. The only - minor - flaw is the slightly overexposed section on the top rim of the coke can. Otherwise: well done and congratulations.

Thanks for the replies, you two! Does anyone else have some criticism? I plan on re-shooting this with someone actually modeling, that way I can pay more attention to my camera and get it just right. Any piece of advice would help.
