All I can say is, "I wish I had an 'L' lens with a f/2.8 + IS".
These, are pics I took around about a month ago with my Canon 20D + EFS 17-85mm IS lens.
I'd like to know what people think about these shots... Any constructive criticism is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I'm liking the first one, but the second one feels like there's too much going on. Maybe a tighter crop would help.

I also didn't use any accessory flash on these photos. They were all natural lighting. The second photo is a bit noisy. I had to use a really high ISO.

It's better to have a high ISO than very little detail or motion blur, unless that is your goal in the photo. :)
