Hi there!

I have a friend who is 35weeks pregnant who told me that she would love for me to take her Maternity pics.. Now I have some Q's..

1) What are the best shots/positions that are flattering when the prego mama is on the overweight side?

2) She is concerned about her stretch marks.. Do you still take a pic and then remove the stretch marks? or just stick to clothed pics/covered bellies?

Anything else? I've never done this before (although I had maternity pics taken during both my pregnancies)..

Thanks in advance.. this will be my first maternity shoot.. and her baby will be my first newborn shoot.. :) So excited!

What does she feel comfortable with? That's the most important. If she isn't comfortable showing her tummy, then don't push it. If she's overweight, I've found that tighter shots, cropping the arms for a slimmer look can be nice, and shooting down on mommy's belly can give a slimmer look, but it's all about angles.....trying looking at some other peoples work to get some ideas.
Stretch marks are HORRIBLE! I hate them with a passion and tell all my mommys they won't have any when I'm done with their pics. if you can just remove them, but if she's not comfortable with showing her tummy, then just do all clothed pics.

Oh, thank you!! I appreciate your tips! I will talk to her more about it and see what she's comfortable with... thanks!
