It certainly gets the message across, but you're skating very close to the line (if not over it) of copyright infringement. So, good as it, I'd advise not using it.

Really? I've seen that look done before. I know the MLB has it, but so does the NBA, and even the MLG (Major League Gaming). How could I find out if it breaks any laws?

Post your pictures everywhere and see if anyone comes knocking? sorry I had too.
If you end up sticking with it I think it looks good. Conveys the type of shooting well and still simple and clean.

I agree that you are pushing the lines of copyright infringement. I would not use it.. but that is just me. I think it gets your message across but I also think it is a bit tacky as well.

Legal issues aside, as knock-offs go it's well done. But in a business requiring originality, I don't think it sends a positive message. Make your business image design yours and if it's effective and strong enough, someday someone will be creating a knock-off or your logo.
I enjoyed looking at your work Joe, great stuff.

I can't really comment on other people with a similar look, all I can say is that in your situation I wouldn't go that route. The only way to really know whether you could get into trouble would be to talk to an IP (intellectual property) attorney.

Thanks guys. It's not for me, it's for a client in my area. I gave him a few options, but he loved this one.
