Very nice shots. She is very pretty.

Like the pencil drawing very much. Care to share your knowledge?

all I did was put the colored pencil filter on it from Photoshop elements. Real easy!

Beautiful girl !

Yes, I too loved the pencil sketch.

I have tried the colored pencils, but was never as successful as you have been here . The face is perfect!

Maybe I should have started my pencilling with a B & W image. I will try again.

I have tried Chalk & Charcoal (see my post from last year -- SEARCH if you are interested). But your pencil sketch looks great.

One consideration: I did not examine your sketch closely. But, when I get back to these tools I intend to alter the strokes throughout the image by using the magic wand or by subjecting different areas of the subject to different strokes. I have tried this with the stained glass and it worked wonders in randomizing the look.

Hmmm. Interesting. How long have you been interested in photography?

I have been interested in photography since I was in high school. My mom had a 35mm SLR which I used then, and then used an old Canon FTb QL that she got in an insurance co. auction. In 1995 (I think) I bought myself a Canon EOS Rebel SII, and have been adding to that with lenses and filters. But, I have never taken so many pics as I have since getting my G3 last Thursday (3-6). Someday I hope to get a 10D - all of my current equipment will work with it, so it wouldn't be like starting over, just adding to. You can see a few of my SLR pics at http://hometown.aol.com/jboyd46/jackiespictures.html. Thanks for the interest!
