I haven't really taken too many outdoors shots and thought I'd try to play with some sunflare on one. I had only my 400D and 17-85 IS with me, so DOF isn't what I would choose (I would have preferred my 100 f/2). An on camera 580 was used for fill.

Nice and if you cut a little on the left you could even decentralize your subject and, on the same time, you don't lost the flowers on the background.

Thanks for the suggestion. I guess I may be trying too hard to hang on to the flare :)
