Hey guys,
I'm really interested in shooting some infrared photos, But I don't know if my camera is adequate enough to produce desirable results. I've read tons of webpages talking about how great Nikons are, but have never heard anything reffering to 300D. Have any of you had experience in shooting Infrared with this camera?

For the 300D, you'll need an infrared filter and long-exposures to get images. You also have the option of removing the Infrared-blocking filter inside the camera, but you'll have to be good with electronics OR pay Canon (or somebody else) to do it for you.
For example:

Ok, kool. I'm just a beginner so I don't have another camera to allow me to shoot only Infrared with my 300D. But I ordered the Hoya R72 filter, and I don't mind the long exposure rates, I have a nice tripod and am probbly only going to shoot landscapes in infrared anyways. Thanks! :)

Good, you're going to probably have a lot of fun with it. Expect those exposures to take a while though - it will be like night photography.
And post your results.
