Wow! The first one is incredible. It almost looks kind of like a motion blur effect around the nose due to the direction of the fur. Almost like the nose is flying toward the camera at high speed. But the focus is spot on.

thanks for the comments guys, was just trying something different for a change, also added his eye, bit blown out the fur but I "think" it holds up.
