Anyone ever shoot flair bartending?

My sister's a bartender at TGI Fridays and she just texted me she wants me to shoot her bar competition.
anyone have experience shooting flair bartending?
i'm gonna guess that the bar will be fairly dim.
Is my 24-70L on a 5D2 going to be long enough?
she said i can probably get about 10-15ft close.

Never done anything like this, but it sounds like it could be a very interesting shoot. I have a feeling flash would be discouraged. I think you would probably be fine with the 24 70, though if I were to guess you would be at the longer end a majority of the time. That's assuming you were at 10-15 feet away. People have a tendency to yield to the guy with the big camera...
Hope for stuff with fire? Maybe some cool long exposures from that/motion blur.
