I have been using a Pro90is since 2002. I purchased it because I most often used my old Canon SLR with a telephoto lense. Whether photos at a party, of the family or scenic and landscape tourist photos when on holidays, I always used a telephoto lense. With the Pro90is, I had the benefit of a 70mm lense and a 10x optical zoom. That still wasn't enough, so I added an Olympus 1.7 Tele Conversion Lense. I've been extremely happy with it but am now limited by it's low 2.6 mp's.

I resisted purchasing the EOS 300 when it was offered as an end of line discount item and waited for the EOS 350D. Of late, I have read lots of critical reviews from users. Did I wait for a lemon? Should I consider the EOS20D instead?

Can anyone offer advise on which would suit?

You're right. I was suffering from over surfing. I meant the EOS 300 and the EOS 350D.
Thanks

I don't think the 350D/XT is a lemon, I have one and love it. But to make a choice between the 20D + 350D you need to look at the different feature sets of both to work out what suits your needs and budget. Also try holding them at a shop before buying as some like the small feel of the 350D/XT and others hate it. Personal choice, but as long as they have the features you need either camera will serve you well with good glass.
