powershot 200S and zooming

When I set the mode to view and use the zoom button I can see great detail on my photos.
Is there a way to produce this same detail when viewing on my computer?

Any software package that you are using to view your images will have a zoom feature - it's completely standard across the board. You'll be able to find the zoom either through a pull-down mention (probably the "view" menu), or by clicking on the zoom icon.

If in doubt, use the help guide in the software package itself.

Thanks. I was able to zoom but the quality is much poorer than when I zoom on the lcd screen.
I have two editing programs, Adobe photodeluxe and PhotoImpression (that came as part of the Arc software).
Can you recommend a really good program to make dark photos lighter?
