Hi all!

I was wondering if I could use the 105 macro lens from Sigma in replacment to the 100 macro canon for the 10D. Does anybody know the quilty and if so do you think i could then mount the MR 14EX Canon Ringflash on it?
Thanks

Yes, you can use the Sigma 105mm macro lens with the MR14EX ringflash. You really need to get the Macrolite Adaptor 58C otherwise the flash unit has a tendency to slide off the lens. The flash unit is designed to work with Canon lenses that have a groove to retain the "fingers" on the flash head.

I would strongly recommend you to get the Canon 100mm macro lens, though. Firstly, it is compatable with the flash and secondly, it has internal focusing so it doesn't change length. The Sigma lens does. I have used both.
